INTEQ has more than 7,000 employees working in locations across the globe and on hundreds of rigs at any given time, including more than 2,000 petroleum geologists and engineers. But it’s the quality and hard-earned expertise of our scientists, engineers and other employees, rather than sheer numbers, that make INTEQ the world leader in directional drilling and advanced LWD and MWD.

INTEQ has taken the lead in developing a strong geosciences capability. Our professionals have access to a thorough, company-wide program of ongoing training and education. Organized through the Baker Hughes Petrophysical Network, INTEQ teams geophysicists, geologists, reservoir engineers and production engineers share their specialized knowledge of directional drilling and formation evaluation expertise.

INTEQ is led by division president Paul Butero, who is known for his strong, growth-driven, technology-oriented leadership.
